This week we will begin a new novel. This novel takes place in a country with a culture much different than our own. Be sure to check the blog everyday to make sure you keep your posts up-to-date! Remember each post needs to be answered in complete sentences.

Tree-ear felt good about himself, because he thought he going to work on pottery but he was not. When he started to work he was not working on pottery. He was doing Min's house work that Min did not want to do. He was dissapointed that he was not doing pottery but instead house work. When he was done he was mad because he had eight more days to go.
Before Tree-ear felt good that he was going to work for Min, because he thought he was going to work on pottery right away. While Tree-ear was working he got a blood blister. After Tree-ear got done he was too exhausted to eat.
Tree-ear was too exhausted to eat, but Crane man fed him anyway. The next morning, Tree-ear had a bandage stuck to his hand where the blood blister was and Crane-man cleaned it up with an herb.

1)Tree-ear's first day of work was disapointing for him.
*Before the work began Tree-ear was excited, because he thought he would be making pottery and his palms touching wet clay.
*While he was doing the work, Tree-ear was disapointed, because he wanted to make a pot or vase, not cutting down trees. He also was angry, because he thought Min was lounging around as he was in the mountains chopping so long he had a blood blister.
*After the work was done, Tree-ear was angry. He didn't get to make anything. He just did boring, painful,exhausting work. He also knew there were eight more boring, painful, exhausting days of work to come.
2)When Tree- ear came home he was so exhausted that he couldn't eat the home cooked meal Crane-Man made him. Crane-Man helped him by feeding him. The next morning Crane-Man helped Tree-ear by healing his hand by making a special paste and made a bandage for Tree-ear.
